Today’s reading: Mark 14:53-72

“But Jesus remained silent and gave no answer. Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?” “I am,” said Jesus. “And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.” ‭‭Mark‬ ‭14:61-62‬ ‭NIV‬‬

This was another chance for Jesus to bail. All He had to do was stay quiet, yet there was no way he could deny His identity.

He was/is I AM (Exodus 3:14).

He was/is at the right hand of the Father (Psalm 110:1).

He will be coming with the clouds (Daniel 7:13).

Three strong affirmations as to who Jesus was, confirmed by the Old Testament.
